BioNorth began under the name "Ottawa Life Sciences National Conference and Exhibition" in 1994. It was the first Canadian conference that met the needs of the Life Sciences sector, blending both the business and science disciplines, and bringing together biotechnology and life science professionals from all facets of the industry—industry executives, regulators, investors, researchers, clinicians, academics and students. BioNorth provides a forum for the Biotechnology and Life Sciences community to discover, learn, network and partner in a truly unique environment—the nation's capital.
OCRI Life Sciences celebrates the success within the local sector through its Life Sciences Achievement Awards Program and promotes growth and investment nationally through the Canada’s Top 10 Competition.
