Program Overview
Mission:
To foster community collaboration in supporting school-based activities
designed to enhance the personal and academic development of students.
Program Objectives:
- To increase the participation of anglophone & francophone
community volunteers in order to enhance school-based activities
and academic learning within the Ottawa region
- To improve risk management through a revised screening process
- To develop school/community/business partnerships in order
to recruit volunteers with specialized skills and/or interests
- To provide a professional, supportive volunteer management
system for program delivery and the maintenance of current volunteers
