Technology Coaches
OCRI's Tech Coaches are a team of young educators and recently
retired educators working to help practicing teachers integrate
new technologies into the classroom. This low-cost, targeted strategy
has had a significant impact on the use of computers in delivering
the school curriculum. In addition, it is an outstanding professional
development experience for young educators beginning their teaching
careers.
The aim is to:
- maximize effective integration of communications technology
in K-12 education
- increase communications technology awareness of students and
teachers
- help educate teachers on available technology resources
